Caving

Caving is the art of safely moving through a natural cave to a destination and returning to the surface without hurting yourself or the cave. In order to explore safely, you will need the right equipment and the right skills. Practicing caving, you will abandon the sun light and you enter in the darkness of a cave where you have to climb, descend, crawling and sometimes even rappelling.

You will discover stunning geological formations and will admire beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, formed over thousands of years, precipitation of minerals in groundwater seeping, slowly, through the roof of the cave. The clothes must be comfortable and footwear to be hiking boots or sports, it is recommended to wear clothes and shoes to change into once the activity. The level is easy and can be performed by children from 12 years. We equip with protective sleeve clothing, helmet and front lighting system. From our facilities in Ribadesella you will take you where the activity begins and will bring you back.

We delve into the dark bowels of the earth where we have to climb, descend, crawling to contemplate the different formations created by the activity of water seep into the ground.

Will explore the cave of Pando located near our facilities in Ribadesella. The level is basic and is a cave recommended for everyone. The route is easy the pass through the cave is horizontal and the hallways and rooms are spacious and large with spectacular stalactites and stalagmites.
Material provided: Protective cover, helmet and headlamp.

The clothes you need to use is a t-shirt, pants and hiking boots or sports that fit your foot well.
