Descent of the river Sella

ENJOY THE NATURE

The descent of the River Sella is the star of all activities of active tourism in Asturias. The river Sella is located between Arriondas and Ribadesella in Northern Spain. The activity it´s always made in the mornings and we provide all the necessary equipment: canoes, paddles, flotation units, and tight drum that serve to put personal things, the picnic bag we provide, wetsuit if the weather requires, transport, liability insurance and accidents. The monitors will give the theoretical class just before starting the descent and some recommendations.

The descent is free, you don´t need to wait for anyone. The tight drum serve to store things that you do not want to get wet as a camera, a shirt, a towel.

The descent of the Sella lasts 3 ½ hours 4 hours, 15 km away counting stops to enjoy the views etc. We also have an alternative to stop halfway, roughly 7 km (Toraño).

NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE DESCENT OF THE RIVER SELLA.

At the end of the tour, our monitors will be waiting to pick you up and take you to our office in Ribadesella, where you can change or you can take a shower with hot water. Bring change of clothing because you will get wet. The canoes have 1, 2 and 3 seats.
